so befroe DX my eyesight was very blurry (for months), I just thought it was age....then DX and I got my BS down and my eyesight came back! So I thought "cool" Now I am thinking am I okay now? what do you think?

High blood sugars definitely affect vision. Glad to hear your vision is better now.

I'd encourage you to have an annual check-up with an ophthalmologist just to make sure your eyes are healthy. Its recommended that you wait a little while after diagnosis before getting your glasses prescription changed, as vision often improves as blood sugar regulates.

But do make sure you get that annual exam so you'll know early on if problems occur.

I had the something similar, blurry vision got BS down then excellent vision (no more glasses) then normalisation, but only wear glasses for driving/watching TV.

As Linda says, get a regular check uo.
