1/2 lb of sugar in that shake..., over 300 carbs and 2300 calories
(found on consumerist.com)
Holy Moly!!!
I like the way the first ingredient is "low fat milk".....a nod to it's health shake status no doubt...

That is really disturbing  - I mean it is unhealthy for all people, not just those of us with diabetes.

Wow http://www.getsmile.com/emoticons/smileys-91853/aiw/ohmy.gif I think the only way it could be worse is if it came with a side of bacon!

Actually, adding bacon would make it healthier ;)

And I thought 64q of saturated fat was enough for one day http://www.whinny4me.com/Smileys/indifferent0014.gif

And I thought 64q of saturated fat was enough for one day http://www.whinny4me.com/Smileys/indifferent0014.gifThe total amount may be important (and clearly this shake is way too excessive for anybody!), but I believe the relative proportion is even more so ;)

Suffice it to say, I don't think any of us wants to have a Heath Shake from Baskin Robbins http://www.getsmile.com/emoticons/smileys-91853/aiw/meeting.gif

Don't forget the the Oreo Shake! A little bit more carbs, slightly less sugar, more calories & more fat. I dunno . . . pick your poison - they're both bad.

And I agree, I don't think anyone would want one of these. I'm actually not a fan of chocolate - my wife thinks I'm nuts.

Anybody have a contact at CSPI? I'm sure they would make a stink about it. (Center for Science in the Public Interest) I like to call them the food police. Some things they make a fuss about I think are kind of crazy, but when they make noise about things like this I think they are doing what they were meant to be doing.

Wow! I initially misread the name of the shake as "Health" instead of "Heath".

Wow at my carb to insulin ratio of 1:7. I would take 43 units of humalog to do that shake, bloody unreal.
It looks good. I'd totally drink it.
Hahahahaha.... have to admit, I would at least have a swig of it.....
btw... I thought it said "health shake too!"
I thought they were just making a little foodie joke.....I've never heard of Heath bars.

Heath bars: yummy. Chocolate covered crunchy toffee bar.
Y'know, walleye, I was just wondering how someone on insulin would bolus for THAT! Good grief!
Well, I guess you could get one for about 10 people. That would translate into 200 or so calores and 30 grams of carbs per person. Heh.
Insane. Absolutely insane.

Wow.. I have been so carbariffic for two years now.. I can't imagine eating that. Like 3 days worth of carbs in one shake. I don't think I have enough insulin in my pen to cover that thing.

I actually drank a milk shake before I went to the doctor. I knew they were going to test me for diabetes, so I just figured I would save them the time. I had a feeling and after looking up the diagnosis on the net I knew I had diabetes. It only about 5 minutes before the doctors and nurses were running around trying to get me a ride to the hospital. I told them I could drive :)
