I'm just wondering if anyone has had any issues with nerve or circulation issues and what the symptoms are? My left arm aches and feels heavy at times and I'm not sure what it is. I had my whole body checked for circulation and it seemed fine. Any comments would be appreciated.... thanks.

Neve damage - Pain. Lots of stinging and aching. Sometimes numbness if you'e lucky

Circulation problems - Legs will get bloated or stiff, you'll feel like everything is clotting

I have something similar.........it's called occipital neuralgia and I have constant pain in the back of my head & neck area. I take Elavil (10 mg) which really seems to help.

For some reason, neuropathy effected my arms and not so much my legs. I had a test done and found that I have radial neuropathy in my arms. It feels a bit like what is described at tennis elbow and goes down to my baby finger and two fingers next to the baby finger. My fingers are a bit numb, but not bad. I take neurontin and it relieves the discomfort. I take a baby dose.

I have some neuropathy in my feet since having bunion surgery that included breaking the bones in my foot below my big toe and baby toe (osteotomy). Neurontin helps that also as well as inserts in my shoe, made by my podiatrist.

Although I am not dx yet, Dr appt today, I have neuropathy,in my arms from an auto accident, that was being treated before with various anti-deppressants,I stopped the last one lexapro in june because I thought it wasn't working for me, I am now on lyrica , it works extremly well.

i have neropathy in my legs and stomach (the stomach version is a slow stomach, slow digestion), i'm on lyrica for the legs and domeridone for the stomach, lyrica worked well at the beginning but not as much now, though my legs don't hurt enough for me to not walk...

i guess nerve damage is just another cross we have to bear, but as for your arm/shoulder problems, did you consider frozen shoulder?

I tried lyrica for one day and had extreme dizziness. Did you guys (on lyrica) just have to adjust to it or did you never have the problem with dizziness at all?

Sorry vbutcher, sort of a hijack.

there was some dizziness when i started it, but i think that was just the painkiller effect it has, like it was starting to put me to sleep... i don't remember it bothering me enough to stop, i was on gabapentin before it and i started on 3 pills a day and by the time i stopped, i was on 6...

I never had any problems with lyrica besides the fact IT DIDN'T WORK :(

Neurontin 3x a day seems to help though, I am on 600 mg now, up from 300 when I started in April.
