I'm using the Bayer Contour Link BS Meter with my Paradigm 522 pump....I have had two recent artificially high test results, resulting in me overtreating, passing out twice in the last 3 months. Has anybody else found inaccurate results with this meter? I'm on the verge of switching meters and am looking to hear from other diabetics with similar stories.

Been using a bayer contour both the old version and the new version without any problems. Don't forget meters are inaccurate and generally only give you an indication of your blood glucose level. All meters in themselves have a +/- 20% inaccuracy without external factors like what you washed your hands with. You can buy very accurate meters however they are the size of bricks and take a very long time to give you a result.

Do you have a correction factor and I:C? If you are high at the 2 hour mark after a meal be careful about correcting as high GI (Glycemic Index) or high GL (Glycemic Load) food can cause you to drop and return to normal ranges at the 3 hour mark. High GI are usually foods with simple carbs in them usually causing a spike in bg and high GL tend to be where you have consumed vast quantities of carbs (200g+). If all else fails then try another meter and see if it works better for you.
