More Lantus Problems

I just took my first dose of lantus in about 3 or 4 days.

About an hour after, my pulse started racing, I felt like my neck was going to explode. My wife said something to me, and I just yelled at her... bad anxiety attack, seemed like. Then I laid on the couch with a shirt over my face for what seemed like an hour and a half but was only about 20 minutes.

WTF? Does anyone have any idea if it was the Lantus? Any similar experiences?

This "attack" just ended about 20 minutes ago.. I've been very fuzzy-headed since.

yes, my levels were perfectly normal. between 87 and 123.

Do you skip it? Three or four days? I have never had a reaction to my lantus.. just highs and lows.

You may be allergic to the lantus. Talk to your doctor about levemir.

has it happened again since? it could also be your body adjusting to the insulin, though i've never had that kind of reaction, and i've been on it for almost 2 months now... if it continues, talk to your doc...
