I have been a diabetic for the past thirty years and have no major problems. I just started using the OmniPod and I love this thing. You know that I wish I would have done this years ago but I am a little old fashioned.
I dont think that even if using a pump that you should eat what ever you want and just pump your self up with insulin, and I know lots of people who do. If any one hase any great food to cook and that are not your every day eats let me know

Well I have been this way from 2/21/79 till today. And it is not that hard, I realize that my life and my family deserve the best only.
Watching what I eat and making sure that I get plenty of xrsize (lol) but most of all I monitor my foods and bloodsugar. I check my bg at least 10 times a day, it was just 102 a few min ago. but this is how I gauge what I can eat and what to do. I try to keep my BG around a 100 all the time.
It is hard but it takes a sacrifice and I try hard.

That is like asking how old the person is now! Welcome new member to the formum. It is so good to have another old timer on here with me.
