"BEE in Control of Diabetes" Fair Set for Oct. 30
The Diabetes Center at St. Francis Health Center, in recognition of National Diabetes Awareness Month, is hosting a free fair on Saturday, Oct. 30, 2004, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Maner Conference Centre's Sunflower Ballroom.
Parking is available at 17th and Western.
Dr. Mary Franz, St. Francis Family Medicine, will present "Participating with Your Physician in Caring for Your Diabetes."
Other scheduled activities include diabetes information, blood pressure checks, target heart rate measurements, educational sessions, foot screenings, glucose screenings, microalbumin screenings, oral health screenings, free sample products, vendor booths and door prizes.
