The flu jab...
I get mine tomorrow... but i had a sudden thought! We do have to have it in the arm don't we? I won't have to be baring my bum tomorrow??? :confused: :whistling

LOL! They say the silliest question is the one that's never asked. I'm not sure if there would be a medical reason to do it any differently, but they are given in the arm here in the US.

Not a silly question. I wouldn't want to get it in my bum, and I would like a warning first if they did it that way.
It is given in your arm.

So y'all are telling me that the nurse that gives me my flu jab every year is a pervert??:eek:
I always get my flu jab in the thigh---gotta drop my drawers.

Flu shot is an IM (intramuscular) vaccination. It can be given anywhere that there's muscle mass, such as the thigh or hip. The upper arm is a convenient location because it means one doesn't have to disrobe, which is particularily appropriate for flu clinics.
Laura, when you do get it, be sure to keep your arm relaxed and loose - this will help minimize discomfort.
