Test Strips for the BD Link Meter

Hi all :)

Here's an FYI for anyone who uses the Link meter with the Minimed 512/712 pumps.

The regular old BD test strips used for the Logic meter can be used with the Link meter. I'm talking about the ones that don't have Minimed's logo, are on the shelf at my Pharmacy, and say right on the box that they are intended for use with the Logic and Latitude systems.
I tried one while at the pharmacy just on the off chance that it wouldn't work, but it took the strip and beamed it to my pump. We are good to go. :D

Also, to add to this thread -- do a topic search for "BD test strip recall" -- make sure you don't have any of their recalled lot numbers in your supply. In another forum, a person on eBay purchased 8 boxes that turned out to be recalled (BD did end up replacing them).
