Any idea about the type of food, or is it anything goes. Also what type of budget are you looking at?

probably looking for something "diabetic friendly," so not a lot of pasta etc.... budget is probably mid-high range, maybe American cuisine/steakhouse or french inspired?...
thanks!

The number one winner from Seattle's Best of Fine Dining 2008 is a wonderful restaurant. :) Here's the info:
Chez Shea
94 Pike St
Seattle, WA 98101
Phone: (206) 467-9990
Spectacular chef, wonderful assortment of wines, absolutely fabulous food. Valet parking is available and the views of the water are awesome. The setting is quite intimate. If the people you're gifting this to are allergic to anything, mention that to the wait person and the chef will come out to the table and create something off the menu specifically for them. It's a French, American, Japanese restaurant. Seafood and steaks are the specialties.
The only question I would have for you is where, specifically, do the people live? Seattle is a huge place and though this restaurant is "central" to Seattle, if they live outside the city proper, it can be difficult to get to during commute and game nights (think Battle of the Bay traffic). We're serious sports freaks up here. :T
Here's the website: Chez Shea Website (http://www.chezshea.com/)
