gluco watch use

Hi all-
Because of my kidney function decline, the insulin is not being degraded at a regular rate. I have a call into my MD to see about a glucowatch but have never talked to anyone who has one. I am also post menapausal and get hot flashes, so I am afraid that will interfere with the readings. Any ideas? Thanks-

Can't speak for the heat flashes but I'm gonna try the watch as soon as I can find out if my doc faxed in the info for me to get it, I asked yesterday and they did get the forms to fax back. I just have to find out today if the doc did that and if so I'll order it then and when I get it I'll post some info and opinions on the item.
