Hi,
I`m new on this forum, i came from Romania, Europe and i`ve been diagnosticated with diabetes 1 year ago. I`m 26 years old and i try as much as posible to be informed about how to keep my blood sugar in normal values.
All of you guys have already answered me a lot of questions and helped me a lot and i thank you very much for this.
In my country there are not as many informations about what`s new and what to do in case you have diabetes and that`s why you help me a lot.
For the moment for me things are OK, my last HbA1c was 6.6 and i`m looking on decreasing that value.

I think it's wonderful that you are trying to take such good care of yourself and are trying to learn all y ou can. I really believe that is a big key to controlling this disease. As they say, "Knowledge is POWER" . I truly believer that :thumbsup: .

I was diagnosed at age 24 (about 2.5 years ago) w/ Type 1 and boy has my life changed! ;) Before then, I really believe that I took my health for granted, like I think so many do. Unfortunately, it took something like this chronic illness to wake me up :( . But now, like you, I am trying to do my best to control and live a long, healthy life...even if it means with diabetes. My last A1c was also 6.6 ...and I'm hoping my next one is even better :D .

Anyway, welcome again and I hope you will visit us often :D

Hi, I am new on this forum, I'm glad I found it cause I never new something like this could be so helpful, anyway my name is Jen and I am 17 (almost 18!) I live in Colorado I have had diabetes just over a year and I have just started on the Paradigm 512 insulin pump! Hope to hear from you all.
