Hello to all. I just joined the forum. I am new to pumping and I just calibrated my Navigator about an hour ago for the first time. Please feel free to give me any advice you have on the Cozmo pump, the Navigator, or anything else you think will help me. I look forward to sharing with all of you. My pump and Navigator came as a result of an auto accident caused by an extreme low. I totaled my truck and side swiped 2 parked cars. Luckily no one was hurt and I did not lose my DL. Better control with my 2 new toys will be a result, so I look on it as a positive experience.

Welcome Bulldogmdz,
Side swiping a couple of cars isn't so good, but totalling a truck? That's down right awful and sad. Now that you're on a pump, any chance that VA will forgive you for wrecking a truck and return your DL?
As for the dog, I got one that's uglier than yours!
Welcome aboard,
Tom

Hi Bulldog and welcome.

I've had my Cozmo for three years in February and just now am persuing a navigator. I will be watching your posts about the experience. Meanwhile, others have posted about it. Search NAVIGATOR on the forum for an informative thread.

We're glad you found us.

Welcome to Diabetes Forums bulldog. I am so sorry to hear about your accident, but glad you are ok and everyone else was ok also. I am sure that was quite scary.

Welcome to the forums. I am sure you will find a lot of good advice here on your pump and Navigator.

Welcome.

So the big question for us IDDs is "which rate do I adjust, basal or bolus?" The next big question is "how much should I adjust by?"
