hey,
i know that i havent been about on here much but so much has been going on!

On the 29th, im to go in an have an operation a vic..something not sure how to spell it, but basically have all the jelly and dried up blood taken out and then saline solution put in.
I was supposed to have it a year ago, nearly to the day but they cancelled the day before I went in an just said needed laser... now they have decided have done all the laser that they can so the op is the only option, so was just wondering really if anyone has been through this, or knows someone that has... only just found out recently that one of main side effects is a cataract...

last year had to have 3 different prescriptions for glasses as kept changing... an started to get slight double vision - tho have been seen at the hospital for this and they have said that its nothing to be worried about - tho if it gets worse to go back an see them.

on the good news... have finally qualified as a norland nanny!! lol

Hope everyone is well that i do know on here.. and hello to everyone that I dont! xx

Well hello back to you. Good luck on your operation. I've had laser surgery but nothing close to what it sounds like you are about to have. Here's hoping everything is clearer when you are done!

Yes, I had a vitrectomy in Oct 2006. They are fun!

Hey Sarah. Glad to see you back. :D

I've not had any type of eye surgery or laser (yet) but I hope you have a wonderful and speedy recovery. Good Luck. I'm sure your docs are well qualified but I know it can be a scary process.
