I have just had my latest photographs done of my eyes and the minimal leakage I had in my left eye has got a lot worse and had spread, while the leakage in my right eye remains minimal. So I now have to have laser treatment in my left eye to stem the leak.
An unfortunate situation with my son resulted in him punching me in the face and breaking a left front tooth the day before I went for my eye photographs. As I had felt I was keeping blood sugar levels under good control with lots of effort I am now wondering if this extra leakage could have resulted from that punch?... or is that not a possibility? My eyesight has actually been much improved lately with the better blood sugar control, but this comes as a bit of a shock.
Also I am going on holiday in a couple of weeks and will be flying and I am wondering if it is risky to be flying with this condition in my eye? I have heard instances of pressurised cabins causing blood shot eyes etc.
Any info would be helpful, thanks.
