Progesterone

I have PCOS and my doc says I have very low levels of progestorene. (like in a 60 year old) What can I do to increase it? Are the progestorene pills better or the cream? He prescribed me a birth control pill also to get my periods regular.

If you are TTC, there's a once a week progesterone shot that you can get. The pills are better than the cream, IMHO. The shot works especially well if you are trying to not go into preterm labor, I will start getting it in a couple of weeks.

I am ttc but since I have to be on BCP for a few cycles as you mentioned, do I need to start taking the progesterone shots right away or can I wait until I get off the pill?
