Im type 2 i believe... my doctor is out of office for a week and the walkin doctor told me about my blood test but nothing I can run with... any advice...
Relax
Nothing is going to happen overnight.
Cut back on the carbs and take a walk.
When you see your Doc all will be explained.
He'll probably put you on some kind of medicine and give you a diet to follow.
In no time you'll have it under control and you'll live your life like it's nothing.
And welcome to our club. There's lots of good advice here and tons of support.

Stop the detox and eat real food. The whole detox thing is horse hockey. There is no scientific evidence to show that it does anything. In fact, detoxes can lead to some nasty complications- especially in somebody with food issues. Not to mention that maple syrup is high in carbs, and without some form of protein to slow down the absorption you are just asking for a reactive hypo. Your blood sugar will be on a rollercoaster with that type of program, and that will only contribute to your feeling poorly.
You can eat low carb while avoiding wheat and glutein. It doesn't have to be no carb. I aim for no more than 45 carbs a meal, and that works for me. I eat whole grains- cous cous, rice, whole grain pasta. I also eat lean meats. You can aim for fruits and veggies, but I don't know how that affects people with celiac disease. Point is, there is a lot that you can eat, but what you are doing now is only going to hurt your body more.

detox ? have you ingested poison ?
The best way to detox is to wee whenever you need to wee !!
The whole 'detox' thing is rubbish!! Everything is toxic in the wrong dosage ... even water or oxygen ! Its about balance.

Welcome and relax like other have said. Your doctor will explain it and there are diabetes education classes you can attend at most hospitals.

Hi Laila and welcome.
Just like the others have said, DON'T PANIC!! and cut out the detox thing it's just rubbish especially for diabetics. Drink lots of water, go to your local pharmacy/ drugstore and get a cheap blood glucose meter, test as much as you can i.e before each meal and 2hrs after, then when you next see your doc he can give any advice to you based on FACTS not suggestions (well meant or otherwise).
