wow Kerstin, you are right on it, i am so impressed! I eat 15 almonds and a glass of sugar free fiber one for breakfast, pretty light I know. multivitamin, magnsium 500, 500 b12.

lunch today was tuna, tomatoes and dark green spring mix with a spritzer dressing - no carbs. a little cheese.

I made some breakfast burritos with Egg, cheese and sausage. I froze them and heat them in the microwave. It is quick and no dishes to do afterward. The smaller tortillas I used were 20 g carbs.

For lunch I have been eating salad. Not your normal salad, this has lots of veg like broccoli, cauliflower, bell peppers, sprouts, carrots and more. I put some cheese and/or meat on it. I add a few croutons for the carbs.

I have 10 pounds to loose to get to my target and was having a hard time loosing that last 10 lbs. starting the low carb meals I am loosing weight again. :D

I mix eggs, shredded cheese, and whatever other omelette-type ingredients I want (I like sausage, diced ham, crumbled bacon, chopped spinach, chopped onion...) and pour into greased (well, I use Pam) muffin tins. Bake until cooked, and that's it. I have 2 at a time, and they store well in the fridge or freezer and reheat easily in the microwave.

Eggs are good. That's what I have on weekends--omelettes with chicken sausage or anything else (no-carb) that suits my fancy.

I find that, for me, the lower the breakfast carbs, the better. Most workdays I have a lo-carb protein shake that has only 5 grams of carbs.

Kerstin.........I work full time and leave my house before 7:15 every morning so I scramble up a couple of eggs or prepare an omelet the night before and reheat it in the microwave.

Breakfast: 2 slices of toasted light wheat bread with spray butter; Cheerios Crunch or Special K Protein Plus cereal with Hoods Calorie Countdown milk; a Dannon Light & Fit Carb & Sugar Control yogurt.

Lunch: Usually a salad with chicken breast (grilled or from the deli), a handful of walnuts & craisins; any sandwich (tuna, chicken salad, deli meat) on light wheat toast.

Breakfast for me is usually a protein shake, or eggs and bacon. Sometime's i'll just have lunch meat and cheese if i'm in a hurry. I don't care a lot for b/fast, but find I do better with a very low-carb one.

Lunch is generally a bunless burger and salad ( I grill several on the weekend), or grilled chicken or tuna, s/f jello, pickles, s/f jello.

special k protein plus with soy milk is a good breakfast. and try flat-out wraps. only 6 grams of net carbs and high in fiberand 9g of protein. with some kind of lean meat it makes a goob lunch.
