5 yr checkup

Hi again...

Erica has been asking me quite consistantly about all the testing they said they are going to do at her 5 yr "anniversary" check up.
Is this when they will check her cholesterol and do most the blood work on her? They said they don't look for any complications that could arise until the 5 yr mark. She's a curious soul, and the only answer we've gotten is "bloodwork"...oh yeah, an EKG as well, but she's had those b/f when in the ER for chest pains.

I get my bloodwork done everytime I go and they do a big check once a year...must be my age

Hi Robin,
I haven't been told about a 5yr. check up. I guess I will find out when he gets close to 5 years. I assume Dr. Lin does blood work once a year. Thomas had a check up last week and she said he will need his labs redone in January since thats when he had them done last.

Hmmm...we had labs done only once...they just mentioned it at her last appointment b/c her next one is in January and that's when her 5 yr anniversary is.
