I am so glad I found this forum. I feel it is good to have a "support group" for things you struggle with, and diabetes is a day to day struggle.

I am 28 years old. I was diagnosed with Type 1 at age 25. It has been a struggle having to change my way of life, but I am getting there.

I hope to be around and learn much more about this disease!

HI, this is a pretty good place to hang around.

The struggle gets easier - although there are always times when it certainly doesn't feel like it. And changing lifestyle is difficult at first. But most everyone here has gone through exactly what you're dealing with, so we understand where you're at! Sure, there's lots to learn, but you don't have to learn it all at once!
