Used Supplies?

I'll admit I'm a bit of a packrat and have a hard time throwing out a container. I get that from my mom. So I have all these used test strip containers lying around. I don't want to throw them away, but am having trouble coming up with a use for them.

I use an old glucose tabs container for holding quarters for when I do laundry. I refill all the others. I'm curious what people do with their used supplies? Any creative uses?

I actually was going to suggest saving them up to use as a craft project, but then I remembered the dessicant inside of those tubs...probably not such a good idea to use them for crafts...

I just toss them. I know it'd be good to save them for something but I'm having a hard time coming up with anything good.

Maybe use them for travel sized containers for shampoo and conditioner, sunblock, something like that?

I did discover that my Freestyle Lite containers can hold four lancets. Since I use a pencil pouch (with Twilight characters on it) to hold my stuff it can hold my meter, lancet, and three containers. One for new lancets, one for used lancets (and strips) and then the current container of strips. That's at least on thing I can use them for.

i keep the accu-chek compact strip containers for my imodium caplets, because i buy the walmart brand ones... using the older containers for used strips is the norm, but i use the box that the containers come in for the used strips in my med drawer... i'm wondering if we should start a thread and post pictures of our medical set-up... just an idea, but anyway...

finding things to do with our used things is kinda hard to figure out now, but maybe an idea will come to some of us in a dream...

Sometimes I'll keep one to put all my used strips in, but I usually just chuck 'em.

I use one for used strips when I'm out (esp when camping). The gal that does our visual displays at work needed something to hold small clips and push pins. I gave her several and they work perfectly.

the used strip containers are a handful, because we use different types here... like i'm on the accu-chek compact ones, but there are some containers that have the lid attached to them...

i was looking at my stuff this afternoon and i saw that i also use my larger pill containers to hold all my pills for the coming week, like week 1, week 2, week 3, week 4 and week5, though week 5 is usually missing a few pills from some medication, normally lipitor or synthroid...
