Just a funny story

This isn't much, but to me it was hilarious. I was at a child's birthday party recently and my best fried knows I'm diabetic, but no one else did and there were not any sugar-free options(even the juice was sugared). My well-meaning friend considered all the drink options and suggested that Sprite might be the best for my diabetes. :eek: I have no idea what brought her to that conclusion, but I laughed and excused myself to find a water fountain.

Most people don't have any idea do they? My dad had his friends visit and the wife refused to let the husband buy chocolates for Dad 'because of his sugar', but she brought cheesecake!

my x bought me a sugar free angel food cake when I was dx'd, with 29 carbs per serving. what was he trying to say? was it a trick? what did it mean?
