I feel like that when my sugar is really high or falling fast. Take your sugar when that happens.

I agree with GeishaGirl, I get a warm face when there are changes a foot..... test your bgl when this happens.

I have been suffering from being extremely hot for about 5 years now. Is it menopause? I doubt it...I researched and I came up with the thyroid as a thermometer for your body but mine has always checked out right.

I told my endo this and she did not really comment. I can be just sitting and I get so hot-i do not really have the night sweats like women describe-mine are mostly during the day and my hair dresser even told me once my head was radiating heat and she had never experienced it before with any other customers...I joke that I am one hot momma but it is not funny. I have a fan at my desk and on me at night blowing right on me most most of the time. Next time it comes I am going to test my bg.;)

Are you talking about flushing of your cheeks or your whole face???

I do not know if you mean me or Alicia-when I get hot I sweat profusely, but I do not get red or flushed.

Actually, I was wondering if Alicia had flushing.

Marcia,

I know exactly what you mean about getting hot and sweating profusely!!! I still cannot pinpoint what is going on and why it happens. I will just be sitting there and then all of a sudden get super hot and start sweating all over, especially on my stomach. People have mentioned the thyroid, but I haven't talked about it with my endo yet. That will be done at my next appointment. I know it isn't menopause because I'm only 24!!!! All I do know is that it isn't any fun and can be embarrassing at times when my shirt is all wet in my tummy area! So anyway, I just wanted to tell you that you are not alone!!!

Check your blood pressure too, my face and neck get warm when my blood pressure is elevated.
