Hello!

Just been for an eye test he said everything was fine but the pressure in my right eye was 19 and the pressure in my left eye 14....and perhaps I should go for a further test for glaucoma but said it was unsuall for someone of my age 34 with no history of it, to be that, so its up to me. Im not sure if i should go or not! I have been having a problem with puffiness around that eye and wondering if could be sinus problem any thoughts?

I say have the exam. Where my eyes are concerned, i'll do anything they suggest I do....even if it's just sinus problems, you'll have peace of mind. Otherwise, you'll worry and wonder.

sasha,
Eye pressure of 19 sounds a bit normal/high but not too high.
pressure of 14 is perfect. They'll give you some eye drops to reduce the eye pressure of the one that is 19.
High eye pressure is over 21.
Your doc is being proactive so your eyes won't be exposed to glaucoma.
