I quit smoking about 5 years ago, but still get an INTENSE craving every now and then (especially since I started low-carbing). When I do, I pop a piece of nic gum.
The other day, I googled "long-term nicotine gum use" and several sites indicated that it may increase insulin resistance! Sheesh, that's all I need!! You just can't win....
Anybody heard this?
