Hello fellow Diabetics, I have come to start taking some sort of supplements and the subject of interest is Chromium as this has many benefits over a good handful of issues that concern us.
The University of Maryland Medical Center has a page that talks about this mineral. (http://www.umm.edu/altmed/articles/chromium-000294.htm)
I would love to see your comments about Chromium. :)
Also who of you take supplements that contain Chromium and what has been your experiences.

The Berkeley Wellness Newsletter concludes.."nobody should take chromium picolinate, especially young people." They go on to say it could cause cancer and that clinical trials have shown no clear evidence of benefits.

Hey guys, there are several chromium threads that should still be active. Feel free to peruse those too for other arguments and info.
I take chromium (300-500mcg once daily) - I notice a severe increase in insulin sensitivity/effectiveness.
