Between now and when I get in to see a doctor I was wondering what the target range was while pregnant. Before I was pregnant I would try to keep mine between 80 and 140 but I have read on line to keep it 60-120. I always feel terrible when my blood glucose is 60?

60 is really tough and risks dangerous hypos. 75 is my bottom and if I am dropping fast, 90 can feel bad. That 60 might be for casual testers. If you test often you might do well to aim a wee bit higher.

Hi
If it helps any, the targets my OB gave me for pregnancy are the following:
Fasting - 60-90
Pre-meal - less than 105
1 hour post meal - less than 140
Bedtime - less than 120
One thing to consider is what type of insulin you are on. If you're using lantus, your OB will probably want to switch you to NPH. I used to feel like **** when my blood sugar hit the low 90s while I was on lantus, but I can be quite comfortable at 60-70 on NPH. One of those weird things that happens.
Do you have regular diabetes nurse? You may want to get in touch with him/her ASAP, as well as your dietitian and your endo. Everyone needs to be in the loop for this and they may be able to get you started on a good regimen.
Breathe =) And congrats!
