colds really suck

Hey all sorry about that again but the cold i had turned into the flu and a cold from ****...got dehydrated and ended up in the hospital , but luckily enough my sugars stayed somewhat ok, so thats why ive not been around for a bit ill try and pop around from time to time ...hope you all had your flu shots cause let me tell you its some dose that is going around...take care all and have the best holiday season and i hope none of you are sick :1eye:

i didn't get my shot this year even though its free from my doctor. my mom doesn't believe in them. but I think i'll be fine. I've only had the flu once or twice and I've never had the shots before.

Sorru to hear about your cold- you're right, they DO suck :rolleyes: . But hopefully this will be a very temporary thing and you'll be back to your old self in no time. ;)

I haven't received a flu shot either, but so far, so good (knock on wood ;) ) Hopefully, it won't be a problem! ;) I hope everyone out there is keeping healthy and surviving this holiday season.

Eri hasn't had her flu shot...it wasn't in the office when we were there...we'll see when we move to Buffalo. My dad just got his flu shot last week(he's T2).

Sorry to hear you got sick, debaroo. Hope you get back on your feet and feel better in a flash! I got a cold last week, but I think it's going away now (drank the he-- out of water, too...lol) :D

My mom and grandmother got the flu shot, but I do Not believe in them. When my hubby was in the National Guard, he was getting them (mandatory) regularly, and was getting sick almost every 3 to 6 months. After he got out of the military, he stopped getting the shot, and stopped getting ill. We've had flus and colds sporadically, but only once in a very great while. I can't even remember the last time I had the flu. As the saying goes, to each his or her own... :)
