I just started on levemir flex pen. Is it necessary to do air shots for every single injection, or just at the start of the new pen? Also, should I be hearing a lot of clicking while doing the injection. Thanks for any help.

Yes, prime the pen each time, sometimes they don't work and you get zero insulin.. even though you hear the click!

Yes you need to prime the pen every time.
Also from when I tried the flexpens "YES" the clicking is normal.

Yes clicking is normal. It is telling you that it is delivering the insulin. If you don't hear a click, check to make sure the number has gone back to zero. I always prime my pen before I adminster a shot
