I am looking into a Continuous Glucose Monitor, the Paradigm from Medtronics, and was wondering how long the sensors last. I will probably pay out of pocket, so it makes a difference. I hear of people going 15+ days with a single sensor sometimes. Is this typical or extraordinary? What is the typical life of a sensor? Of course I could never get the reps to fess up that they last more than 3 days. Thanks for the help.

I've been using it for over 2 years now. I have gotten 2 weeks out of every sensor except for just a few. A few just won't last long, be it site issues or the sensor just wasn't as good as others. YMMV though.

Ditto...I wear almost all my sensors for at least 12 days, often up to 15. I find that after 15 days some may still be reliable, but often they start to give up the ghost.
