Need to find a Diabetic specialist

I live in the Metro Detroit area. I need to find a diabetic specialist to get myself in check. Any suggestions on where to look aside from the yellow pages or my insurance companies website?

The only suggestion I can make is to call your local hospital and ask if they have a Diabetes center there. If so, you could ask them for a referral.

If you have any medical schools, or look for endocrinologist under physicians in the phone book, either one would be good places to find help.
