Was not sure if this is the correct area...
BUT question about where to purchase Insulin!
I use Novolog & Levimir Flex Pens...
I curently have NO med. Insurance ...due to being UnEmployed!...Blahhh.
I been purchasing my Insulin through CostCo Pharmacy...seems to be the Cheapest place.
BUT anyone know where it must be sold cheaper??????????
Just Curious....Buying my Diabetes Supply is killing me...since I have barely enough money to pay my monthly bills!...:(

GO to this web site. Novo Nordisk US Patient Assistance Information for Diabetes Care products - Novo Nordisk US (http://www.novonordisk-us.com/documents/article_page/document/Patient_Assistance_DBM.asp)
I have just started this program, I am now getting my med's and needles for FREE. They have some income and insurance requirements but from the sounds of things your in the same boat as I am.
It's really simple print the form fill it our and take with a copy of your 2008 taxes to your doctor. They have to fill it out and send it in. Takes about 7 - 10 days. You will get 90 days worth of medication from them. you have to resend the form (less tax info) in every 90 days (or sooner to keep med's correct)
I have just received mine last week and went to doctor to pick it up, 10 pens and 300 needles.
If you have any questions ask me here but PM me to make sure that I see it and can answer for everyone to see.
Good morning all!

If you are using R and N, I think Walmart is the cheapest, their store brand is about $23 a bottle.
When I haven't been insured, I order the analogs (Lantus, Novolog) from Canada.. it's about half as much as paying for it at the Pharmacy here.
