Need Help Animas IR1000

ok I'm dirt poor and cant get health insurance and my ir1000 is dying (doesn't like to give more then 5 units acts like its to much work and animas wont fix it) but of course just my luck i woke up look at my screen and its busted but the pump is still working i can remember how to bolus but i need some one to tell me the exact buttons you press when you prime it. :confused: :( if some one could do this for me that would be a great help.also how much does the new ping run i know i talked to mini med and a pump from then was 6grand and right now working 25 hours a week i cant afford that. :( today sucks

Can you ask the pump companies if they have any refurbished pumps?

I don't know how much an Animas costs but I know that most of the pump companies offer some kind of trade in for an old pump. Did you call them and ask if you can get a special deal on a Ping since you're an existing customer? I know that Minimed also offers monthly financing but I'm not sure about Animas.

I wish I could help you with the button pushing but it's been so long.

As for getting a new pump. I think all Animas will give is $500-750 off a new pump with a trade in. They do have a monthly financing plan though, not sure how little they can get the payment though.
