ok well in two full days of testing I have only had one fairly high result. Dinners seem to be when my numbers get their highest with the last 3 dinners look like this:
before:99 one hour:153** two hour:107 (thin sliced ham,1/2 sweet potatoe, water)
before:116 one hour: 133 two hour:105 (chicken, corn, salad)
before: 99 one hour: 124 two hour:108 (2 hard shelled taco's with beef, salsa, skim milk)
my fasting 8-10 hours are 95, 98, 100..
my symptoms are nausea, vomiting(had GI workup..neg), numbness/tingling hands and feet, dizziness, lightheaded. I feel sick prior to eating, eat feel a bit better and feel even worse within an hour or so. I have woke up nauseous went to the sink turned to go back to bed and felt as if I might black out quite a few times. It scared my husband. Had a 9lb 1 oz baby girl in august, negative for GD at the time. I am concerned about my fasting numbers never going below 90 and the 153 one hour but am not sure if I should continue testing since my other numbers are ok so far. Could this be very early prediabetes? Is it normal to have normal numbers followed by a few spikes here or there. What I read on Bloodsugar101.com had me concerned because it said ND should never go over 140 or even have numbers that creep close to it..ie 133 and that over 90 fasting should probably be considered early signs of prediabetes and should be addressed with the possibility of small blood vessel damage already occurring.
