Black out

I have recently been in an motor car accident and for some reason i can't acount for about six hours of time, between having the accident and calling a friend to come help tow my vehicle. is it possible to have a black out while driving and not recall it and think that no time had passed?????

A lot of time in traumatic situations, people tend to repress portions of times as a way of dealing with the stress. Give it time, you may recall it at a later date.
