Can anyone explain how being diabled and having a pump how does this work and coverage?
Any info is GREATLY appreciated!

I'm not sure what info you want. Do you want to know if a disabled person can physically use a pump? Or if a disabled person is eligible for a pump under Medicare? I know Medicare/Medicaid do cover pumps for Type 1 diabetics. They require a c-peptide test and probably make you jump through a lot more hoops than regular insurance companies do.

Yes, They do I agree. I called Minimed and they said that Medicare tends to get faster responses as far as the million papers that are required

Medicare and pumps are costly been with medicare 4 yrs now Mdicaid in mich covered 100% when I had it Now I'm on Medicare know wonder seniors have to eat catfood just a joke no offense intended

I know here in Florida Ive been on Medicaid and it does cover 100% now Im VERY scared about being declared "disability" and not bein covered for my pump Medicare w/ Medicaid:confused:

if you have medicare w/medicaid you are all set I'm unable to get medicaid with my medicare due to diability from the union.
