Anyone else eat at this place? They have a good low carb menu that helps me quite a bit when I eat out. It's the only one I have found that actually caters to low carbers.

We have a lot of Cracker Barrell's in our state. They have several low-carb offerings, both breakfast and dinner foods.

I still miss their Chicken & Dumplings that I use to have pre-D though.

Their gift shop is really neat to browse around in...lots of interesting foods and gifts.

We dont have one in Las Vegas, but I travel to Utah alot to camp, hike and fish and I stop there every single time. The food is tasty enough and the low carb menu is just fantastic. First restaurant I've found that really caters to low carb. A lot of low carb choices on the menu and it's all very reasonable.

The problem is that their desserts are absolutely delicious. I'll usually steal a bite from my SO.

I love Cracker Barrel restaurants for the same reasons. I ask for a child's portion of the dumplings and take enough insulin to cover it. The rest of my meal is the low carb stuff. It is all great!

When working on the road, I try and find a hotel close to a Cracker Barrel. They are good for diabetics and their prices are great.

maybe they have low carbs choices because one of the owners or chain owners rather, has diabetes themselves.

Someone should find out ;)

or maybe they just got in trouble for a diabetic going to high from their food, that they decided to add lo carb :)

I think CB has a low carb offering to cater to the Atkins crowd, but I think it is also an appeal to folks who KNOW that all southern food is high cal, high fat (AND GOOD!!).

Road Food

Anytime I travel by car it's my restaurant of choice.

Boring but you know what you're eating and the low cab menu isn't too bad.
They do have fantastic bacon though.

I love Cracker Barrel as a rule. Good food, reasonably priced, and a friend on highway trips between facilities. The low carb menu and the easily had kids portions are a godsend.
