I've been reading up a bit on homeopath supplements. I am interested in trying cinnamon, Gymnema sylvestre, and Mulberry extract.

Has anyone tried these? What is your experience?

Mother,
Go ahead & try 'em.
In my case I've tried a few supplements & they haven't helped significantly.
There are some pre-D here on DF that are using some.
PrincessLinda uses Cinnamon, I use it for my coffee but for flavor not as a med.
Report back to us of your conclusions. Thanks.

Mothernature, I tried the cinnamon tablets, they were hard on my stomach. I do add cinnamon to my tea and to sweet potatoes...or anything else I think it will work in. I enjoy the taste. I didn't notice a rise in BS after stopping the tablets, and my stomach thanked me!;)

If you're going to dry different supplements/herbs, etc, keep your doctor aware of what you're taking. I work with a group of surgeons, and we take our patients off supplements/herbs before surgery, as some have blood-thinning properties.

I am currently using Cin, notice more of a weight loss benefit. Been on it since Dx, so can't say what would happen if I go off of it.

Also on ALA, L-Arginine

Both my DO and my Endo agreed on Cinnamon (1/2 teaspoon a day, usually on cereal) and Chromium. When I watch my diet these two supplements keep my BG under control (90 - 115) without recourse to drugs.

These are not homeopathic remedies, they are supplements -- big difference.

Like adding powdered cinnamon to my coffee, and fresh peeled fruit. Seems to limit my BS spikes, which is always a good thing.

Remain skeptical. Try it for a time, stop for a time and compare average results while noting any other differences like activity, coffee, smoking, moods and temperature that might skew results.

Cinnamon is a wonderful flavoring on many foods; coffee and cereal are my favs. Be cautious with the other homeopathic cures where they take some chemical and dilute it to ridiculously small amounts and charge you large amounts of money for what is essentially nothing. Scientific study shows the only effects are to make you poorer and the homeopath richer.
