I recently got a new job....2 weeks into it now...:D
sleep schedule is different too...
I cant seem to get a constant monitering levels as before working!
Makes me mad:mad: ...I had to take extra Insulin shots to lower my levels too!.....I try my hardest...I've been Spiking quite a few times now...
Is this usual when a new event comes along???
ALSO...I've hella tired at my new job too....Like dosing off while at my desk...Anything I can eat or do to prevent this??
Thanks in advance.

It has only been a day. This isn't a terribly busy forum, TBH.
About your Q: Shaking up my schedule always screws up my control and how my body responds to insulin. It takes me about 2-3 weeks before I get settled properly. You'll also be falling asleep at your desk a lot until you get about 7 hours of sleep each night and go to bed (and wake up) fairly early before you go to work.
Make sure you get a decent breakfast that has more to it than just cereal goods (a little meat like an egg or two will give it staying power). That'll help keep you going in the morning before lunchtime. Also, if you really start to get drowsy, just get up and walk around for a couple minutes. Walk outside especially and you'll feel better.

:) Hi,
Glad today was better for you. Anything new always adds stress and Stress mucks up your blood sugar levels. A new Job is super stressful. Mindstorm gave you some good advice and be patient.
