Anyone familiar with BANABA tea or leaves?

Grown in the Phillipines these leaves are used in many forms to "treat" diabetes in some Asian countries. Also rumored for kidney flushes and general well being.

So, has anybody tried it? Its not available anywhere in my area but I can order it online.

I take a couple of capsules a day. I can buy them at a local place. They seem to help, but I cannot quantify. Right now, my numbers are good, so I'm leery of changing anything.

I asked a local Holistic type Co-Op to order in bulk but the stores manager is on vacation till next Monday. If he won't stock it I will order some.

Just nice to have knowledge of natural items that can assist to lower bs.
