headaches and eye tremors

can you have headaches and eye tremors with type 2 diabetes? could the metformin cause this? is it the high blood sugar? can someone please help me.

How are your blood sugars running when you are having headaches? I find i'll get a headache when by blood sugars are elevated.

As for twitching eyes, i've had this a lot, even before diagnosis. I've read it can be due to eye strain (working at the computer too long)...or even stress. It is irritating.

the numbers have been 145 up to 300.... now with the metformin.. i am keeping it 97 to147... i will ck it the next time i get a headache...

I've always had headaches, so can't help you there. Eye tremors, however, are *relatively* new - first 2 time it happened was stress related, about 10 years ago...I was giving a deposition after my daughter's dad was falsely accused of a crime, and then again about a month later after our daughter was attacked by a friend's dog...It does happen at times of stress or, as Linda said, when I've been working on the computer a lot, but I also think it *may* be blood sugar related, as it started around the time that I think my blood sugar probably first started going really out of control.
