Any links between insulin resistance and sleep apnea. I was diagnosed with mild sleep apnea I think 14.5 was my number. I snore alot, I am 6'0 about 215 so I am overweight some which doesn't help. I tried C-pap, that was not for me!! I had a UPPP, base of tongue reduction, tonsils out and a deviated septum repaired. I think it helped some but I still feel tired, I just had another sleep study so we shall see if the surgery had any effect! Any feedback? You guys are great!

What happened with you & CPAP? I'm sorry you had to have so many more invasive procedures (you must have good insurance! :D) and I hope your tests confirm that they helped.

CPAP has worked for me, but I'm at only 10cc pressure. What I'm hoping is that continued weight loss will make a difference & I'll be able to get off CPAP.

I just couldn't sleep with it, Tolerate it. I have good insurance thank god, I am a state employee. There was alot of pain, but no lasting effects or horror stories from the surgery.
