Possible preganancy and wack blood sugars...

There is a possibility that I could be pregnant since my husband had the surgery and we could continue to have sexual activity right away. This all happened at the preecise time I was ovulating. My Bsugars have been VERY strange. I have changed every set to make sure there was no occlusions or kinked sets. there ws none. These are my unexplainable symptoms:


High and low Bsugars at VERY weird times.
Body and Lower abdomen aches that are unexplainable

I am feeling very anxious and a lil scared.

Just tested for Ketones and its not that, thank god.

is it around the time of your period?

with both of my pregnancies i had wicked cramps around the time my period was due (which is normal for me), but i also had strange sensations. i was running to the washroom, tampon in hand, expecting my period to be there.

it didn't show up...but a big fat positive did a few days later on a hpt.

i wasn't D at the time so i can't speak to the bs irregularities...

I am not due till about the 16-17 of this month, about 9 days away. I can't test yet, I believe it would not pick p the hormone. What other reason why my Bsugar spike the way it did?

well if you are still 9 days away, there's a good chance if you are pregnant that it hasn't implanted, so, yup, a test wouldn't do any good.

i'm not sure what would cause those wacky ups and downs! maybe all the fretting over whether you are pregnant or not!!

we all have our out of whack days. i've been having a few. last night i went from 4.4 to 10.1 for no apparent reason in a matter of an hour. :eek:

my sugars have been jumpy lately. but then, so have i. :D

Yes I know that for a fact of having real wacky days, lol.
Of the 4 years on a pump spikes are extremely rare for me. When I was pregnant with my daughter I know my sugars were real wacked, but I was also not on a pump. Cant think of much except for the first reason, PG, and Ketones. I just tested and no Ketones.

My sugars spiked at ovulation and stayed high the month I got my BFP.

Do you chart - to know when you O'd?

I know exactly how you are feeling! I have three children, and then got re-married in Feb. So i just had my tubal reversed a few weeks ago, and we started trying to get pregnant. I wont be able to test yet for 7 more days, but starting last week my bs started running FREAKY low, even as bad as registering "LO" on my meter. Before i went to bed last night I was 42, and this morning I was 39!!! This only happens when I am pregnant, and continues all the way into the 2nd trimester. i just thought it was a little early for it to be happening ALREADY, befor I've even missed a period, but maybe not......
