I have been trying to change my eating habits to follow more closely the Mediterranean type diet. Tonight on the news, they discussed how they are finding a link towards this type of eating and the lower risk of Alzheimers Disease.
Here are two links about the Mediterranean way of eating. It really is pretty easy. I wish I could like sardines. :o

I remember eating sardines all the time when I was kid...but now I don't like them...isn't that backwards? lol actually, I have not eaten one since childhood...hmmm...maybe I DO still like them, but decided that I don't cause they're little whole fish.

When I hit my goal weight, I'm looking to this diet as a way of life. Thanks for posting this.

I know I posted to this thread earlier, right after Katherine's post, about making a fish sandwich using my waffle buns and sardines. What happened to my post? There's no way it could have violated any forum policy because the only link used went right back to the waffle buns recipe on the DF Recipes board. I also mentioned that the sandwich was somewhat like McD's fish sandwich, and that I might melt cheese on it next time I try it.
Did anybody see that post? Does anybody know where it went? If I had accidentally deleted it myself, there would be a message saying that. If it was deleted because it veered slightly off topic (but still about fish/sardines), the reason for deletion could have been stated, as usual.

Because you had already mentioned "little whole fish", I also quote that phrase, and joshed about them being properly prepared before processing. Weird that it disappeared without a trace. Maybe I should start shooting screenshots of my posts!

Disappearing posts, in a thread on Alz .... suuuuuure! ;)
My DH loves sardines. He shared a can with the one cat who shuns him (otherwise) the other night! The rest of us were gagging at the smell ... including the other three cats!
