6weeks & crazy sugar

hi all! I'm new, My name is Claudia. My boyfriend was told 2yrs ago he couldnt have children, so obviously we werent using protection..oop's i am now 6-7 weeks pregnant! My blood sugars have rarley been under control, but obviously i need to keep tighter control on them now, which i have been. I'm just scared i'll loose the baby because of this. I test twice as much and take insulin more often to lower the blood sugar level. I am going today to see a high risk doctor hopefully he'll help me alot more! Any insight and suggestions would be great!

Claudia, I have no advice to give you, but may I offer my congratulations? You are certainly right that you have a higher obligation to take care of your own health now.

Hope your new doc is helpful. You'll get some "real-world" experience from forum members, I am confident.

thank you for your kind words! I just went to the doctor yesterday, turns out i'm only like 3weeks pregnant but everyone including me is scared because of the stomach pains i'm having, or have had. I dont have anymore pains but the doctors are scaring the ish out of me tellin me it could be an eptopic pregnancy or stuck in my tubes!!

I'm still taking prenatals and hoping for the best.
