My fasting blood test shows glucose reading of 107 - the morning of the test I had black coffee with artificial sweetner contaning dextrose with maltodextrin. Would this raise my glucose number?
Yes it could. Maltodextrin is a carb.
Have you been diagnosed with D? If not, if you are that sensitive to carbs, you probably should be. I would not take it as a "false" positive -- ask for an A1c and an oral glucose tolerance test. Find out what's going on -- the earlier, the better!

If you had anything at all, you did not fast. The amount of dextrose, etc in the sweetener is negligible. The coffee itself would have a much greater effect. Get a retest done, and this time, fast.

Ditto what Owlyn said...fasting means nothing but water, for exactly this reason.

Even black coffee is taboo because the caffeine can have an effect.
