Ok...that was hilarious. None of it looked good, advertisements nor reality. Makes me glad I never go to fast food.
Your brother makes a GREAT point. Food decorators for ads are a must.
I used to work for an advertising agency and the food decorators had all kinds of tricks for making food look more appealing on TV. They used acids that made meat bubble, dyes and fake foods. It really was amazing. We could not eat one thing that was prepared for a commercial.

Wow! This video really tells the 'truth' about how fast food looks. Thank your brother for making it Jason and thank you for posting it. I enjoyed it very much.

Could you get your brother to change the music in the begining of the video. The music he has now made my dogs bark! :D

Wow Jason, it really seems that type one runs in your family. My doctor always told me that there was not a genetic link. That doesn't seem to be true in your families case. How old is your daughter? Was she the same age as you and your father's age at diagnosis?

She is almost 13, and was dx'd at 6.
And here comes a story...
She was kept overnight in the hospital, to learn how to do her injections, test, etc, and she called me.
She said "Daddy, I know my life has changed forever, but I'm not scared, and I'm not gonna cry.".
This, at six years old.
She has been doing her own MDI and testing ever since that very day, unless she was tired, or lazy. :D

Thanks for that as that is exactly WRONG!!!! It seems that we believe too much on how they sell takeaway as I just make my own at home. Like the humble tomato & cheese toasted sandwich that you get at maccas (Mc donalds). Anyone can do that!!! DOH!
ZoneTrooper :D, Welcome to the zaney crazy folk at DF where we looove food to no end. It just the fact that we have to mess with Insulin to get to satisfy to what we eat without feeling crappy.
