What do you all DRINK most regularly?

I've been sticking pretty hardcore to water since my Dx, but I am getting a bit tired of it. I'll have skim milk at night occassionally. I also like unsweetened iced tea, but I've been craving some juice! I used to love juices before the diagnosis..

Any suggestions? And in the same general topic, are those crystal lite "to go" packets decent? I've used them before, but don't want to rely on them if there's bad stuff in there -- there isn't any sugar or carbs, I've noticed, and they come in a ton of flavors.

I drink cystal lite packets buy a bunc of flavors and go flr it. I also like my soft drinks so i drink nothing but diet. I do not drink fruit juce of any kind because they spike my BS. Hated giving them up thats why i use cystal lite.

Some have nothing good to say about Crystal Light, but I drink it and find it satisfactory. In fact, the CL lemonade packet is a component of one of my favorite DF recipes! The zero-carb margarita (http://www.diabetesforums.com/forum/type-2-diabetes/16636-everyone-talking-about-wine.html#post482445)!

There is Ocean Breeze Diet drinks (Cranberry, Cranberry-Pomegranite, a couple of others maybe) that have 2g carbs/serving. Mind you a serving is only 8 oz. I like a big glass of juice, so I am probably ingesting 6g/glass. I am not really drinking it now that I am on the 6-12-12 diet. YMMV

Diet Rite Tangerine, Black Cherry, and Diet Sunkist Lemonade.

Iced tea with soy milk or cream in it ... coffee with soy milk.

Water is not my fave.

You guys are just wild :T What's up with water..? My main drink is cold water... it's what our bodies need and to have to flavour it -- to me -- is like saying I only want to breathe scented air :D Of course YMMV

I enjoy water...and water add-ins! (I like scented air as well!:D ).

If you are craving juice, Walmart has an apple-juice powedered s/f drink mix (their brand) that tastes VERY CLOSE to apple juice, and is available in 2qt mix size as well as individual add-ins.

Ocean spray has a cran-grape, cranberry, cran-pomegranate and white cran peach add-ins that are really good.

I also like diet IBC rootbeer, Diet A&W root beer, Tropicana Diet Orange-Ade, Diet Mtn Dew and Diet Dr. Pepper.

From time to time I can be very "good" about drinking water, but I mostly drink hot tea (with milk) during the day and do indulge in diet coke in the evenings. I have found that I do better at losing weight if I don't drink diet coke and do drink plenty (2L/Day) of water.

It's good to notice if you are likely to become bored with a food or drink as it can put you off it completely. When I was DX'ed I avoided potatoes (still do really) but wanted a "safe" substitute and found the sweet potatoes worked very well for me. However I ate them too often (nearly every day) and after about 6-8 weeks I got tired of them to the point where I now can't stand them :(

I drink lots of water, Crystal Light, well stomach issues abound for me.

What I do is purchase real lemons or lemon juice, a squeeze or a few squirts in a glass of water, add 1 packet of the blue stuff one packet of the red stuff, ice, I enjoy this very much, since I can't have my sweat tea anymore.

I like walmarts brand of cherry limeade single packets,just add to a bottle of water,also I just recently tried Fuze in the Slenderize in the tangerine/grapefruit very delish! Also I like Snapples Kiwi-Pear 2 grms of carbs for 8 oz. really delish!
