The Doctor just told me I have Diabetes T2 about a week or so ago.
I am taking janumet. Anyone use it? What should I expect as side effects? I'm new to this.

I also take
Altace for HBP,
Amplodine- HBP,
Cadziem -HBP,
Baby asprin - HBP,
Lexapro for PTSD-9/11,
multi Vitiman and Vitiman C.

I've been on it for about a year and a half.
I never had any side effects.

Works great for me. Better than straight Metformin.

Now you have to get the diet and exercise thing going.

I'm a powerlifter so the gym is no problem for me. I have a pro gym in my house. "The Batcave".
I need to get to the Diet classes my Doc has me in for. I go on the 16th.

Metformin gave me severe gastronomical side effects. Janumet doesn't. I think the Januvia in it slows down absorption of Metformin enough so that my body isn't hammered by it.

I also get lower blood sugar readings with Janumet than I did Metformin.
