Above the sumit button there is a "manage attachments" tab you can use to post your pic. It needs to be on your computer though.

This is my new pump. I had planned to get the black one, but my girlfriend rolled her eyes and said, "Stop being practical. You can always get a case to cover it if you need it to blend in, but it's going to be attached to you for years. Get one you like!" So I got a blue one. :D

I'm using the insets, and the pink one was even the right size, I just took it with me because it was free and I figured if I didn't use the pink one then I'd probably never use it, and that's just a waste. Those things aren't cheap!

Eh, well my skin is here and it's more of an olive-green than I expected. I'm a little disappointed, but I suppose I'll get over it.. I can always get another color later :)

Nope, it sure doesn't! I'm a photographer and I have my screens calibrated, so I'm reasonably assured that any discrepancy in color isn't caused on my end.. I was expecting something in between lime and grass green. It's definitely much darker than I expected.

Why did you not go for the purple skin? They do have one, don't they? Maybe you can exchange the funky green for the purple. I'm glad they had pink.:D

I use a pink skin for my 2020. My only problem with it is that it makes the pump stick out a little too much when I'm trying to bolus discreetly. Glad they didn't have pink pumps when I got mine because I probably would have ended up picking it for fun and regretting that decision.

I Just caught this part of your message. I have a pink mini and it's not even close to the same color as my pink ping.

I wouldn't recommend the black ping just because it's much harder to keep it looking clean. Of course I have nothing to compare this to as this is my first pump but I think it always looks dirty :(

I really like the green pump and wish Minimed offered green. I'm wondering why you got a green skin to go over your green pump? I'm not sure what Animas skins are like, but the ones for MM pumps are basically just fancy stickers to put on the pump. They have a lot of designs so you change the look frequently but the things are $10-$15 each. I'll keep my solid purple, thanks.

The Animas skins are silicone.. like a phone skin.

Minimed used to offer a green pump.. I had a green 508 :)

I have a silver 1250. I've been thinking of changing to green. I get a new ping shipped out the 14th of this month. I think I'd like to get a skin but the colors do seem to be off. I do like my silver 1250. My pumps have remained unscratched in my clip-n-go. The pittsburgh Diabetes expo is on the 12th so I'll probably go check out the colors there. Anybody have a green ping? Is it easy to keep clean or do prints and stuff show up on it? Thanks for the help.

You can see the skin is a funky color. However the ping is pretty close in color to the mini.. not exact, but close.

Oh yeah,and you can see the little boo-boo my Ping Meter-Remote has on the cover for the ports.. it got folded over in the packaging and I was giving it a few days to see if it would flatten out on it's own, but I think I'll be calling for a replacement tomorrow.

The mini and the ping in green look like a closer match than the pink mini and ping. I'll have to get out a real camera and snap a shot of them together.

I had it on about 2 hours after it got here... I know I'll probably get in trouble with my CDE, but you know what.. it's MY pump, and MY body, and I was not going to struggle through another week on MDI :)

I pumped before.. so it's not completely all new.

Thanks for the great pics sarahspins. I do like the green but think I'll probably stick with the silver. It does look a little bigger than the 1250. I hope my clip-n-go still fits it. Does anyone use the low profile clip?

It should still fit in the clip-n-go.. from what I know the Ping is only about 5mm longer than the older Animas pumps... it's not a huge difference.

I've been using the low-profile clip but I'm not sure I like it.. it seems really flimsy to me, mainly because the part that attaches to the pump is plastic, while the rest is metal - it seems like a weak point and I will not be surprised when mine breaks.

I got a pink ping just to be a bit wierd and do not regret it at all. Though I may look into the skins. Never was told anything about them.

I'm happy with the green, just not the skin. I'm sure pumps in a few years won't resemble anything out there now... if you compare today's pumps to what was out just 10 years ago.. it's a world of difference.

I have the blue skin, and I don't like it either... way more neon than the pump, which is ironic since the green is so much darker than the green pump. I like having the thick-ish silicone wrapper on it, though. I'm probably going to end up ordering a black one. Black is a hard color to mess up.

I will say I love the screen protectors Animas sells. It seems thick and went on easy, and the rubber squeegee it comes with worked great.

FINALLY! I havent been diabetic for long (Feb 2008) but i thought it was finally time. I was originaly going to get the green pump but read the color wasnt what people expected. Then i decided on black but wanted to be a little different so i went with the blue. still unhappy because they blue on Animas looked lighter than what i got but ill stick with it. Just glad i got the pump, i will be getting trainned on Monday, i cant wait! :D

one thing i noticed, i think mine came with a screen protector? i lifted it a little with my finger nail.

Yeah, I didn't get blue becuase I saw one in person and it just wasn't what I thought it would be... I'm still hoping they'll come out with PURPLE someday :D
